In addition to donating more than £150 worth of harnesses and collars, we have also donated leads and flea treatment for the dogs bought with the money raised. Sofas for the rescue centre were also supplied. All of this was to help abandoned pets in Spain.

Training abandoned puppies to help them find forever homes in Spain

As well as helping financially, we have also been out to Spain to help train some of the puppies, as you can see from the photos.  The purpose of this is to ensure that the puppies are fully prepared for their future forever homes.  It gives them a better chance of being settled and happy with their new families.  The photographs are taken at Pat’s Rescue Retreat in Spain where IMDT trainers gain dog training qualifications. This has a two-fold benefit as using the older rescue dogs in the retreat means that they receive training as well as the IMDT trainers!
